Universidad Coppel is a small, family-owned and operated nonprofit with a mission to promote awareness, support community and social justice, and educate the younger generation about the plight of the working class. We do this through education in the form of film, print, and outreach events. All our events come with a donation box, so all you have to do is give.
Universidad Coppel hosts free screenings of films and exhibits throughout the year, as well as a series of free community events. Our latest event is a free film screening of the short film “Universidad Coppel” that tells the story of Universidad Coppel. This short film is followed by a Q and A session with the filmmakers, followed by an opportunity to purchase a T-shirt with your name on it for yourself, or to donate to the cause.

I can’t believe that this is the same organization that says it’s a “humanitarian organization” and that they’re helping the homeless out, but whatever.
A great example of how our society is working is the Spanish government, which is a pretty strong country. I don’t know how they got all that out of the government, but it’s too bad that we don’t have a government that is more committed to the protection of the Spanish culture and heritage tourism industry.
It’s one of those things where it can be hard to tell who’s who. When I was talking to the Spanish government representatives, they gave me the impression that they actually wanted to help the Chilean people, but they’re not as committed to the Chilean community as they are in their own country. Their message to the Chilean people is probably the same as the message we give the Spanish people: we need to be more involved with the Chilean people and they should be more involved with us.
I’m not saying we should go around the world as a group, but if we want to go around, we should be able to do so. It’s very frustrating that we don’t know who’s going to come to us, how to get to the person(s) who’s going to provide us with the information, and then decide to try and make a name for themselves. The one who actually does come to us is the guy who is supposed to be our ambassador.
