While some may find that to be a little self-contradictory, the notion of bettering one’s own mental health is not necessarily an oxymoron. In fact, it’s pretty normal to think of your mental health as something that will improve your physical health. For me, it’s not like I’m making a conscious effort to improve either one of these things. But pico rivera seems to be making a case that there are ways to improve both physical and mental health.
I would like to see pico rivera use the same mental health techniques that the NBA has been using to improve their physical health. While most NBA players are all about getting their bodies fit, training, and eating right, pico rivera’s focus is specifically on mental health. Instead of just focusing on nutrition and training, they will use that to improve their physical as well. That’s pretty much the same mentality they have when they play basketball.
