The OnePlus 8 and Pixel 4a are the two high-end flagships we’ve seen in the last couple of years. The only difference is the processor. Neither of the phones has a 3rd-gen processor, which is something most of us would love to see.
We need a new processor.
If you’re not familiar with the two devices, their processors are different, so I’ll cover both below.
I have the OnePlus 8 and Pixel 4a both at their various manufacturer’s prices. There are different models, but the biggest difference is the price. The Pixel 4a costs $329, the OnePlus 8 $380, and the OnePlus 8 is $399 but $429 more. It still feels like something that you get from a lower-end phone, but at $399 it’s pretty much the same as the Pixel 4a.
Of course if you already own an iPhone, Nexus 6P, or Galaxy S8, there’s no reason to buy an 8 Plus. If you want a phone that’s only $150 cheaper than the Pixel 4a and 8 Plus, you need to buy the 8 Plus. That’s because the 8 Plus has a few new features that are just as good as the iPhone and Galaxy S8 but cheaper, including better cameras, the ability to run Android apps, and a Snapdragon 835 processor.
The only thing that ruins the whole point of the 8 Plus is that they are way out of your budget, so if you want more money, you need to get an Android version.
The reason the 8 Plus is so bad is because it’s not much better than the iPhone and Galaxy S8, but more than enough to keep the company from exploding when they do.
The other thing that ruins the whole point of the 8 Plus that we’ve got to get rid of is the way it’s sold out. You can actually buy a 7.3-inch iPhone 6 if you want to be able to play with it and play with its camera, but the 7.3-inch is a bit bigger, which means that you’ve got to buy the 7.3-inch.
It would have been nice if the 7.3-inch version sold out first, but that doesnt seem to be happening, so if you want to play with your phone, you have to buy it. It also makes the phone a bit more expensive for a smartphone, which is something we have to fix.
If you dont plan on buying the 7.3-inch, just buy the 5.5-inch instead.
