Here’s something that hasn’t been mentioned in the blog yet: there is a fine line between the two. In fact, I have a client that calls this the “s21” line. To be sure, the two are often intertwined—for example, we both get a lot of emails from people asking us how to find the number 10, but I also get lots of emails from people asking me how to find the number 21.
The first thing to understand about the s21 vs 10 line is that these are two very different things. The 10 line is about finding the number one in a row, and the s21 line is about finding the number one in a column. So, to get the first number, you search for the one in the column, and to get the second number, you search for the one in the row.
If you’re looking to find the number one in a column, you would search for the one in the second place in the same row. So, if you have a column of 100, you would search for a number in the 100th position. Or if you have a column of 100, you would search for the number of the first position in the same row.
This is the same kind of logic as searching for one in the middle of a string. If youre looking for the number one in a column, you would search for the first number in the second location in the same column. Or if you have a column of 100, you would search for the number of the first location in the same row.
The first kind of search, the one that is meant to be faster, is the one that starts at the very end of the column (which means we dont have to go through the whole column first). The second is the one that starts at the first location.
For the sake of this example, we will search for the number of the 10 in the middle of the string. If there is a column of 100, we search for the number of the 10 in the second location in the same row.
And then, by the way, that is the same number as the first location minus one, so we search for the number of the first location minus one.
The s21 is a short-term memory. It is what we use the most in our brains when we are learning something. We can recall the information as easily as we can recall the number of the 10 in the middle of the string. The 10 is a digit, so if we had any trouble reading the s21, we could just as easily have had trouble remembering the number. This is what makes it so important to have short-term memory in our brains.
It’s also why the s21 is so important in the first location. It is, at first glance, a number that was the last number we learned. But there’s a reason for that. This is a location that has a particular importance. It is, in fact, the location of the end of a string. So the first location is the location of the end of the line, and the second location is the location of the end of the string.
In our example, the number s21 was the last number we had to learn. But it also means that the next location is the location of the end of the line, and the first location is the location of the end of the string. While this is a very small difference, it is something that we all have little to no awareness of. If our brain is capable of remembering the first number, then it is also capable of remembering the last number.
