These days I am more inclined to the “slow and simple” approach to living than the “do it all” approach. I’m in the habit of buying local whenever possible so that my produce and ingredients come from local farmers and farms. I am more conscious of how I am impacting my environment than I am about the impact my environment has on me.
That said, when you are picking out foods or ingredients, you have to think about what the food and ingredients will do to your body and how they will affect your health. It’s easy to get caught up in the idea of how much chemicals and harmful things you eat and how much you should be eating.
You may be wondering why I say organic when I do. There are three main reasons why I say that.
1. Organic means that the food or ingredients that came from nature were grown on a farm in an area that is certified organic. These foods and ingredients aren’t genetically modified. 2. Organic does not have a minimum food consumption requirement. 3. Organic will make you feel better, not worse, about the things you eat.
So, if you are really, really into organic foods, you might not eat them, but you will feel better about yourself. Not to sound like a bad person, but I think that’s the point. As long as you are eating natural foods that are grown in an area that is certified organic, you are doing the right thing.
Organic will make you feel better, not worse, about the things you eat. So, if you are realizgin, eat organic. If you are only really interested in your foods, you might be good to eat them, but if you are really, really, really into organic foods, you might not eat them. And that’s okay. It’s definitely more fun eating organic than trying to try to get a bunch of products into your head for a long time.
The question of what to eat is not really complicated; what’s really important about what to eat is why you eat that food. It’s not hard to get to, or eat the right things, but if you eat the right thing—like eating organic—it makes your body feel better. That is the main reason why you find out what to eat.
Like many humans, my first introduction to organicit was when I tried to get a bunch of it into my diet in a group of friends in college. At the time, I was a vegetarian and was eating pretty well, but I was also eating a lot of meat and fish which was a pretty low priority for me at that time. My friend who was also vegetarian, and who was a very good cook, cooked a bunch of organicit.
I can’t say that it was especially satisfying, but I will say that I did not want to eat it. I wanted to eat a lot of real food.
It was probably just my lack of willpower, but it turns out that it was a pretty big problem. It was one of the reasons I ended up eating fish and meat and bread instead of organicit. The problem was that I couldn’t figure out which parts of the fish and meat to eat and which parts of the organicit to avoid. When I finally figured it out, it was a recipe for disaster.
