I’m not talking about the 3rd level of self-awareness here; this is more about the three levels of self-awareness. If you’re like me, you’re probably already thinking about the levels of self-awareness for the rest of your life. This level is the top level of self-awareness.
If youre like me, you’re thinking too much about the levels of self-awareness, you’re thinking about level two, self-awareness, and level three.
The list is a mix of simple self-awareness and social desensitization.
The first level of self-awareness is what we’re talking about. This is the level of focus. If youre like me, youre probably thinking about the first level of self-awareness the most. You’re focusing on yourself and the way you think, you’re thinking about all that self-absorbed stuff, and you’re focusing on it to the point where you never feel like you’re not thinking.
I’m not sure how this works, but as a friend of mine commented, “I like that you can talk about yourself.” So I’m gonna get to that.
The other option is the next level of self-understanding. It might be more like the level of control that we all have in our brains. The next level of self-understanding would be what we want to do. It would be the level of focus we’d need to have on our own.
I think you can control your brain, but we all have a lot of it. That is why we can be so easily distracted. We tend to just let distractions control our lives.
That is true, but I think that’s a good place to start. The first step to getting to a higher level of self-awareness is to know what you want. If you want to turn on your TV and have no one around (like in the movie The Matrix), then you just have to tell your brain to turn on your TV. If you want to be a world-famous composer, then you have to make your brain do exactly that.
The problem is that we all have the tendency to think of ourselves as having all the answers. “I’m a genius.” “I’m the best.” “I’m in charge.” “I’m in charge because I’m in charge.” We think that we have the answers but we don’t. The first thing to do is to think about your goals. Then go out there and tell your brain what you want it to do.
The two main goals of your brain are to be able to understand what you want and to be able to answer that question. Your idea of what you want is simple: go to a movie where you are supposed to be a movie star, then go to a movie, then go to a movie, then go to a movie, then go to a movie.
