If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, you know that I am a HUGE fan of honor notes. It’s a way for me to acknowledge someone who has been a great source of inspiration for me. In honor of Valentines Day, I want to take a moment to thank the man who has been my biggest cheerleader through the last year. I know I’ve said his name before but he deserves the shout out once more.
I am so proud to call him my friend. He was my first and only major inspiration to start this blog. His support and motivation have been the most important factor in my life for the last year. We share a lot of interests. He knows how to keep me motivated and I know how to keep him motivated.
For sure, he’s my biggest fan, my biggest cheerleader and my biggest inspiration. I am so grateful for his support. He is the one person who will always be my best friend. He is the one person who knows just what to say to make me smile. He is the one person who knows exactly when to remind me to keep working hard and keep making progress. I just hope that I don’t forget to tell him about my awesome work day.
I am not sure he knows just what to say to make me smile, but he sure remembers. His smile is like a little sparkler that lights up the darkest room in my house. So he does know. So he does know.
I think this is the first time I’ve seen someone use their smile to light up his entire personality, and it makes me wonder if I should make use of it.
The thing is, every once in a while I need something else to remember him by, so I end up remembering him by other things, like my phone or our dog (Lola).
That’s right. We have a dog named Lola. And at some point I need to make sure she remembers who I am.
The dog is named because she likes to eat bones. So she ends up in the dog bowl, and I end up holding the bowl. And my dog doesn’t come to me to ask for anything, because I’m not the one who has to hold the bowl.
The reason I keep writing this story is because I don’t like anything about this story. But I love it, mostly because I enjoy it. The story is not great but it’s still funny. We’re still trying to make sense of it and keep on adding more things that make the story fun.
One thing that really bothers me about this story is that it keeps mentioning that there are no real rules (as in no real laws), and that it’s all up to the player to run his own life. The first time I read that I was like “Whoa! I have seen this before!” But the second time, I’m not sure who’s telling the truth, because the way the story is told makes it appear that the player is the only real authority.
