The only thing that makes this even more exciting is that as you work harder in your gym class, you will be able to take up weight. A workout is definitely more than just you. The best part about it however is that you can make the whole process as much fun as you want. For example, you can do a workout every day, so that you will be able to do it more consistently.
If you are interested in weight gain, you can start by doing some basic workouts. You can do a high weight pull up, which you can do for about two or three sets of about 10 reps. This will help you build a muscle that will grow with you and become more stable. Then you can do low weight pull ups, which are easier but more difficult.
