I’m actually a bit of a dreamer – I’d like to see a world where everyone lives like I do and that’s not a negative thing, but I also think it has some negative side effects. We all know that people who do not live in a society where everyone is equal or is able to make a difference are more likely to be depressed, anxious, and irritable, but I think it’s also important to realize that there is an alternative to that, too.
The idea of living your own life is a powerful one. I know it may sound a bit odd, but having a life that is your own is a great feeling. I think of it as being in the driver’s seat and being on your own, and I think people like that. In the case of Deathloop, it would be great to see a universe where everyone lives like that too.
I think the greatest threat to Deathloop’s existence is the presence of a small group of very evil people who have been manipulating the island since before the beginning of the game. Their goal, and the reason for their existence, is to prevent the people of Deathloop from becoming the greatest living game designers ever. They plan to trap people into a cycle of misery and death, with the end goal being the end of Deathloop itself.
What do they look like? Who are they? What do they want? How do they plan to do this? Why are they doing this? How will we escape? I don’t know the answers to these questions, but I do know that we are in the hands of these people. We will have to fight for our lives to survive, but we are not helpless.
These folks are called Visionaries. They are the elite of the island who have been imprisoned there for centuries. If you’ve read my past articles, you know who they are. They are the “Greatest Living Game Designers Ever” and I have a feeling they are pretty darn awesome. The way they plan to make you suffer in this game is by making you fly to the top of a mountain to watch the island slowly decay before your very eyes.
Well, I think we can all agree that the best way to survive an old-school FPS game is to fly to the top of a mountain and watch the island slowly decay before your very eyes. As it turns out, the island is going to decay far faster than the game will. You can see it in our old trailer, where the island is slowly dissolving from the ground.
How fast it turns, and how much of our body we can take with us, is one of the great unanswered questions of life. We all know that we can die at any moment in any situation, but what about the moment you fly to a mountain and watch the island slowly decay? It’s a question that people have asked for centuries, but nobody seems to have really answered.
The question is what happens to the island as it slowly decomposes over time. The best scenario is that you fly over it and see it disintegrate into bits as the ground eats it up. This is a pretty unlikely scenario, though and one that we don’t see any of the characters try to avoid. The island will eventually decay and fall apart, and once it does, the Visionaries will be gone, and the party will be doomed.
In most cases, the end of a story is just a big moment of suspension of disbelief. That is to say, it would mean nothing if the story didn’t end right then and there. Deathloop is no different, but it’s actually quite a cool way to end the story. A few things can happen in the film that you won’t see happen in the game.
In Deathloop a bunch of characters will die, and by the end of the game you’re going to be in total shock, as you will be in total grief.
