The fact is that the majority of our thoughts and actions are on autopilot. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing either. We are born with a tendency to fade each and every time we wipe the slate clean. Though we often lose our focus with our actions, we may want to fade in time, if we are in the mood to.
The most extreme example of this phenomenon is sleep. We tend to go to bed early, and every time we turn in we are asleep. This is great for the majority of us, because we don’t have to worry about napping in the middle of a long meeting, but it can become problematic when it starts to cause us to forget where we are, or what we are doing.
One of the best ways to fade into sleep is to use your hands to wipe the slate clear. If we are trying to remember something, we can use our hands to wipe away the last bit of it or picture the last thing we did before the event. If we are trying to forget something, we can use our hands to take the last bit of it with us.
We dont really know what it is, but that would go a long way in the long run. With all of the other videos we’ve been doing about how you can erase all of your memories, we would have lost the idea of it being a process.
Its a great thing that we are able to use our fingers to wipe things away. It helps us to see the bigger picture and helps us to make sense of things. This is important because it also helps us to remember that forgetting things is not a bad thing, but a good thing. The point is that it is a process, like learning to say the letters for the alphabet in school.
