The number one word on the list is “exposure,” and that’s where we all go. Every time we open our eyes, we’re exposed to negative reviews that make us feel worthless, because we’re constantly exposed to them. These five words have almost zero negative impact on our lives, except to us.
Not only do we get exposed to these negative reviews, but we also end up thinking about them, wondering about them, and wondering how we can fix them. If there is a way to make ourselves feel better about ourselves, we aren’t going to be able to ignore the things that make us feel bad.
This is exactly why we have the Internet. It has the perfect combination of exposure to negative reviews and the ability to think about them. We all have the ability to review our lives, the same way we review any other aspect of our lives, but it is much easier to do so when we have the Internet at our fingertips.
I’m not sure if I have ever felt so exposed before but I was so glad to see that the majority of those reviews were generally positive. I do think it’s good to be exposed to positive reviews, but it’s not as if all reviews are positive anyway. It’s easy enough to write a positive review, but the chances of it being seen as positive are slim. I also found that there was an absolute lack of negative reviews, which is encouraging.
The “negative reviews” are so prevalent in reviews because of the way they go about being written that I wanted to get them out of the way. Most of the reviews are really positive reviews — they get the reader to click through to the page and read the review. If you click the “negative reviews” link, you get a random page that says “There is a review on this page.
If the negative reviews aren’t bad enough, the positive reviewers then come back again and again and again and again making it almost impossible to see the positive reviews. The negative reviews are so prevalent that I feel like there is a need for an algorithm or something to weed them out.
These reviews are often the first ones that get the reader to click through to the page. They’re not as good as the positive reviews and so these reviews are a big win for the readers.
This is so frustrating because when we see some of the negative reviews, we then read the positive reviews and all of it just becomes a vicious cycle. A negative review does not mean that everything is bad. The negative review just means that this is a good review. The positive reviewer is just as guilty of being biased as the reviewer who wrote the negative review.
The problem with positive reviews is that if one positive review is bad, it just means that the reviewer hasn’t read the review. No one is going to review a book if they haven’t read it. The problem is that there are many more people who buy a book than there are reviewers. So even if we get a lot of positive reviews, no one is going to review it because the majority of people just won’t read the reviews.
