I need to share with you that I am sitting in my bedroom right now reading my new book, “Anatomy of an Antidote” by Dr. Mignon Gertz. I didn’t realize how much I was enjoying it. I can’t tell you how many times I have read this book and it has helped me sort through some of my most difficult times.
As a medical doctor, Mignon Gertz is an expert on the mechanisms of anesthetic action and the mechanisms of learning (which are exactly what you’re dealing with when you are reading this). And she is a big fan of the new book Anatomy of an Antidote, also by Dr. Gertz, which is an examination of the ways in which we use our minds to manipulate our bodies and our brains.
This is the one I always give to my patients. It is a book that not only helps explain why we have these addictive behaviors, but also how we can use the same techniques to learn how to avoid them.
There are many theories about how we are able to learn (or not learn) with the right type of stimulation. I will focus on the theories of learning which come from the work of Dr. Gertz. Dr. Gertz does indeed believe that there are several mechanisms of learning that we use that we can all learn from if we pay attention and focus on them a little bit. One of these mechanisms is the “anesthetic.
An anesthetic is a substance that makes us feel sick or paralyzed for a certain period of time for the purpose of learning. This is one of the more important reasons why we use the anesthetics in the first place. The goal of the anesthetic is to keep us from learning from the moment we first get it. This is how we become more attuned to the task at hand.
Our goal in this game is to learn how to beat death. We’re trying to learn how to use our powers, how to defeat those Visionaries. At the same time, we’re trying to learn how to not die. The best way to do this is to focus on the things we like about ourselves so that we don’t fall into the other problem: learning what we like about ourselves and falling into the other problem: becoming who we’re not.
Let’s get back to the ‘getting through’ part – which is the main topic of this post. I’ll skip this part and move on to another part.
So how do you beat death? Well, the best way to get through death is to remember that we are dead. This is one of the greatest tricks in the book. It allows us to not die, but also allows us to forget what we are. It allows us to learn to not be who we are, and it allows us to go through death without having to remember it. So, how do you do this? You learn to see death as just another part of life.
There are various ways to do this, and the way I’ve mentioned in the above post is the most effective at the moment. You learn to live in the moment. When we are faced with our own mortality, we are forced to live in the moment. We don’t have time to think about our past lives and what we’ve done. We have time to live the moment. That’s why we are so good at getting out of a situation fast.
I think Ive spoken about this before, but I think you can also learn to live in the moment so you are able to experience the moment as it is right now. The best way to do this is to just live in the moment. What are you doing right now? What are you thinking about right now? Are you enjoying your present life? How does your body feel right now? What are you taking in right now? Its good to just be. Its good to simply be.
