Android as a hardware platform is as interesting as it is frustrating. For a while now, Android has been in a rather stagnant state, not offering any new features and lacking any new devices. Android as a software platform, however, is in a much better position. This year, the Android team announced the Android 5.0 Lollipop update that will bring a number of new features to the platform.
Android 5.0 Lollipop will bring an overhaul of the Android OS, including a cleaner UI.
