TAV Reviews is an independent technology review publication for people who are about to spend money and want to get it right. We review the software, apps, gadgets, AI tools, digital services and consumer electronics that fill modern life and work, and we turn that coverage into clear verdicts, explained ratings and practical buying guides. Our name is an acronym — Tech, Apps and serVices.
What we believe
The technology space is loud, and much of what is written about it is lightly-reworded marketing or a ranking built to sell a link. We exist to do the opposite: respect your time, explain our reasoning, disclose our money, and be willing to say “this isn’t worth it” when that is the truth.
How we work
Every review is a research-based editorial assessment written by a named reviewer and scored against five consistent criteria — read exactly how we review and how our ratings work. We are honest that our reviews are grounded in published specifications, documentation, pricing, and aggregated feedback rather than fabricated multi-week testing, and our ratings are considered editorial opinions.
