One of the greatest benefits of pet ownership is the ability, for the first time in your life, to spend time with your pet. What a privilege that is. But the most important benefit is that it creates a bond between you and your pet that lasts all the way to the end of your life. In a pet-free home, the life of one pet is suddenly empty.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had pets that I would have liked to have had a long and happy life with. Unfortunately, it’s the norm to euthanize pets when you move them, and it’s not uncommon for vets to prescribe lethal drugs that are really not supposed to be prescribed for pets. That’s why I think euthanasia is so important.
Ive been a pet owner for over ten years. Ive already euthanized 2 pets. So far Ive only euthanized one cat that was actually sick and had a heart problem. Ive had the vet euthanize 2 cats. Ive had the vet euthanize 2 dogs. Although I didnt call for the dogs to be euthanized, the vet euthanized them anyway just to spite me.
You can also help the pet community by advocating for pet euthanasia. Thats where you get people who are not really pet owners but who are worried about their pet or their pet’s care. People who are worried because they just want your pet to live out their life to the fullest. People who are worried enough that they are willing to pay for their pet’s care.
I would argue we have too many pet owners in this day and age but that the way we take care of our pets has to change. No more leaving them in a car with a flat tire. No more leaving them in a hot car in the heat of the day. No MORE pet euthanasia.
There is a real difference between letting the pet go to live another day and letting them die. If you want your pet to live, then you have to do what you have to do to ensure that your pet will live. If you don’t do those things, then your pet will die. We can’t allow the pet to go and live and we can’t allow them to die.
This is so common that it’s a little weird that it hasn’t become more prevalent yet. If you have a pet, you do what you have to do to ensure that your pet will live. There is a lot of stigma against euthanizing pets. Some people think that it is like murder or something. But that is the way it is.
I think a lot of people have pet dogs and cats that they keep as pets. But then again, there are people that keep pets for every reason. It really comes down to this. We cant allow our pets to die. We cant allow them to go and live and we cant allow them to die.
I don’t think I need to tell anyone that I have a cat. I have one. That is to say, I have cats and I keep cats as pets. However, in the last few years, I have started to feel a little too comfortable with my pets. I guess I just feel like it’s time for them to go. I keep cats, dogs, and fish as pets.
