The original Star Wars trilogy, by comparison, has a rather pedestrian cast of characters that are all rather bland. While this doesn’t mean that they are bad, it is an entirely different type of Star Wars movie and it’s not really that often we have to go into Star Wars with the knowledge that the characters in these films are all bland when compared to the other films in the franchise.

For the Rebels, Princess Leia has a great story line, but the rest of the characters are all horrible. The Empire has a great story line too, but it gets all the credit for the destruction of the Republic. The Rebels are the heroes, and they’re all great, but the Princess Leia has the most potential.
The second main character is an evil evil genius, but he just needs to get out of the way of his human world. As in, he just wants to be an evil little boy…
