it is a well-known fact that there are some people who don’t want to spend money on technology, computers, or even a cell phone.
People who stay away from modern technology tend to be those who value comfort, security, and tradition over innovation. So to them, shovel knight is a technology that comes close to the latter two. Sure, it has a better chance of being glitchy and not working at all (although it does look cool), but it also comes with a rather nice nostalgia factor. It is a nice nostalgia factor for those who value tradition over innovation.
Many of our greatest moments come about by focusing on the technology and making things as interesting and fun as possible. We tend to fall into these two categories when we’re in a hurry, because we want to improve the technology and make it enjoyable.
That’s basically it. We can either make things better, or we can make them not better. It’s a choice you have to make every day, but it’s one that makes a big difference in the world we live in.
The most important thing to remember about shovel knight is that it is not a game. It is a game about technology. We want to make the technology fun to play. We want the tech to be more interesting than the average person can get, which means we need to make it more exciting than the average person can understand.
It’s no surprise that in the last few months, shovel knight has had a ton of releases. It’s not a game that we can just get up and run with like we can with some other games. It’s a game that requires us to think a lot, and its a game that requires us to be very creative. In fact, our creative director Chris Bajl says, in his blog, that we spend almost an hour a day designing the game.
shovel knight’s biggest problem is that it’s so far from being an RPG that it can’t even be called a traditional game. But the game is definitely not a traditional game. It’s a platformer; there are no save rooms or cutscenes to interrupt the action. Instead, it’s just you running and jumping and shooting and dodging the occasional falling enemy or obstacle. To be fair, the combat is pretty simple too.
And there’s no need for a save game, either because it cannot be saved, or because the game can’t save for you. The only difference between the traditional RPG and shovel knight is the fact that in shovel knight you can reload your weapons by simply walking back to your starting point, and from there you can reload any of your weapons, or else you can simply walk into a different area of the game and pick up your next weapon.
I like that. For some reason I just like the idea of being able to reload my weapons after they’ve been fired. I also like the fact that they don’t save your progress. I don’t know why I like this. I don’t know that I mind. I think I just like the idea that there’s no such thing as an un-saveable game.
Weapons are great, and I’m definitely not complaining about it, but I have to wonder what happened to the shovel being the only weapon you can purchase when you buy the game. I guess it just got replaced with the better option, or perhaps my friend is just not very adept with the game’s mechanics.
