I’ve been asked this question a bunch while writing this post, so I’m definitely going to answer it. This may seem like a strange question now, but when I was in high school it was the one that was asked most. Everyone seemed to have their own opinions on what it meant to be “self-aware”, and everyone was really passionate about it.
If you ask most teenagers about their “self-awareness” and the term comes up, they will say, “Yeah, I’m self-aware,” with a grin that says, “I’m so not.” In reality, most teenagers don’t have a great idea what self-awareness is, and I don’t blame them.
The term self-awareness has become rather popular in the past 10-15 years, and in a lot of ways, it means different things to different people. But in the past few years, it has become very important and widely discussed. For some, it means the ability to control our thoughts consciously, and for others, it means a certain sense of self-awareness that allows us to understand our actions and behaviors.
So what’s the real purpose of self-awareness? If you want to understand self-awareness, you need to ask yourself: Why do I think I’m thinking about my actions, my thoughts, my emotions, my emotions, and some of those things? It’s a matter of understanding how we know them, what we think about them, and then what we do when we do them.
For now we have no idea what the real purpose of self-awareness is, and even if we did we still don’t know where it’s going to go from here. But its good to know that as an action, self-awareness is about more than just making a conscious decision to know how you are. It’s about what you do when you do it. Its about what you think about how you do it. It’s about doing it consciously.
Self-awareness is about knowing yourself. Its about identifying what you want and what you want from yourself and then doing what you want. Most of us tend to think about ourselves as a collection of thoughts, feelings, desires, and behaviors. Most of us do things that we don’t like. Most of us don’t take things to the next level and do things that we find frustrating. Most of us don’t see ourselves as a collection of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
But most of us aren’t that way. Most of us are more like a collection of thoughts, feelings, desires, and behaviors. We think we want something. We think we want to do something. We think we want to do something important. We think we want to do something cool. We think we want to do something cool. We think we want to do something cool that our friends will be proud of us for.
We can be so wrong on one of those thoughts, feelings, desires, and behaviors, but there are people out there who are willing to take the time to look at our actions and think about them. We know we would be proud of them, and we know they are going to be proud of us.
A couple of weeks ago, we were talking about a friend who was having trouble with one of his projects. It was a great time to realize that he was talking about his future plans, and not just his current day. When thinking about what he was talking about, our friend realized our company was a good fit for him, and that he could do some great things with us. One of the things he was talking about was the possibility of building a building in a space that he wanted.
If you’ve been reading this blog for a while, then you know that we’ve been working on a project called offerup. It’s our first company, and we’ve been building it since our launch in January. We’re in the process of building a web site and some other technical stuff. For us, the idea is to build a brand new apartment building in a location we’ve never been before.
