I’m not sure if I’m just a stickler for organization or not, but I do have a habit of throwing things out the window and going to town on other’s possessions. Deathloop is definitely not afraid of making its atmosphere feel dark and sinister. In fact, it’s not afraid of making its atmosphere feel anything at all. I don’t know if this is a game that can be called a “dark” or “scary” game as that word is often applied to the likes of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.
The story is very well done and the voice acting superb. There are several times when I found myself turning the camera around and watching my character walking along and not really knowing what I was seeing. I like that. When I got to the point where I was taking down one of the Visionaries he gave me a big warning. “There are things in this world that I do not understand, and I’m not afraid to say so.
