Here is my latest venture into tracking my kwt. I wrote an article about this for KWTC on September 22, 2017.
Now that my tracking app is up, I would like to share a few things with you about what I’ve done so far. I started with a basic tracker that I’ve updated for my kwt this year. That app has a lot of fun features, but it has a lot of bugs. It’s still being developed, but I am confident that once all the bugs are worked out it will be the most feature-rich kwt tracking app I’ve ever released.
The first thing I did was add a few tracking features to it. The first of which is the ability to track when a car enters or exits a designated area. Ive added this to my app so that I can show you the time of entry/departure of a car.
Ive added a similar feature to my app called Tracking Day. This is so you can see what time a day the entry or exit of a vehicle has occurred. Ive just finished adding a feature where you can get a list of cars that have been entered or exited any location in your area.
This is one of those features that I wish I had in my app when I was building it, but I didn’t have a decent chance at convincing my boss to let me build it. Luckily, I’m now on a new team where I can convince them that I don’t have to create a separate app just for tracking time entry and exit. I guess they’ll just have to wait until I’m on my next team.
I think this feature is great. At work, we have a lot of different departments, and the time entry and exit systems I have implemented should help everyone in those departments get things done. But I think I have to create my own solution from scratch. I’ll find out when I get back to work.

You can’t leave the office while the door on your computer is open to allow you to enter that information. In general, when a system is down, it can only be opened for a short time period of time.
