A few months ago, my wife and I had a conversation. She had gone to a summer camp that we’d attended years ago and was on her way home. She wanted to stop by a grocery store and buy some wine. I mentioned that I had a few hours to kill before she got into bed, so I suggested we go to the grocery store at 3am, since she was driving home.
The story of our conversation goes something like this. We’re at the grocery store and we’re having a nice conversation with a very nice, funny, non-verbal black guy. It turns out that he’s also the owner of a very nice, black, vintage car, and he’s driving this car to a funeral. We all laugh at how much fun this is and how cute the car is (we laugh so hard we can’t breathe).
In the same breath, the black guy explains that hes very sad because he just lost his fiancé, and now hes the only black guy he knows. The conversation ends and we all look at each other and burst out laughing. Its because of this that we decided that we were going to drive down to the funeral the next day in this car.
We decided to go see the old lady, but she would have to drive us over to the funeral site. We don’t even know where she is now, but we decided to just drive over to her and she is like, “I guess I’ll never see her again!” So we did.
In the story, Colt is supposed to be doing a bunch of random things, but he got so drunk, he was so drunk he forgot he was a black person. He was like, “Let’s go.” We were so drunk, he was like, “I can’t really go to the cemetery now, I gotta go to a funeral.” We had to go, but it was a good thing that we got to go over there.
That’s one of the many things I love about Deathloop. It’s that you don’t know the whole story. I don’t care who gets killed or if it’s a good or bad thing. I know why they’re going to die, but I have no idea why. I just know they’re going to die, and I don’t know why.
Deathloop is a game about the journey of one man trying to get to the cemetery of his dreams, and possibly the last time he’s ever seen his family. The game is designed to be played by someone who is not interested in playing the role of protagonist, but instead takes the role of a “party-loving” fan of the game. In that sense, it’s a very meta game.
No, no, no, who is this game for? It’s the game the game creators would create to make the game look more like a puzzle, and to have some fun we need to have some kind of meta-cognitive skill that allows us to make the game look more like a puzzle.
That is what it boils down to. Its a game that has no real plot. Its a game we play to make the game look more like a puzzle. Its a game we play to have fun. Its a game we play to escape. Its a game we play to get a good time. Its a game we play to make a good time. Its the game of a game.
The story follows the story of a young couple who live in a small town in the south of France. They begin a relationship by trying to get married, but, somehow, it ended up with an accident. The couple meets a gang of a few who are trying to keep the marriage going, but, once they get married, they begin a long, lonely journey. They all have a deep, philosophical, and sometimes romantic relationship.
