In my opinion, there are two ways to play the game. One is to simply grab the game (or any game for that matter) and install it. The other is to download the game onto your computer and play it. The download takes roughly 10-15 minutes and the game runs in real-time.

I actually play GTA V pretty much the way the developers intended. I find myself playing the game from the start, starting with the first mission, then getting the time-looping quest, and ending with the final mission. The game is so immersive and so fun that I really can’t imagine playing it any other way. The game is also very replayable, so if you get bored of the previous mission, that’s not too bad.

You also can’t get the game if you already have a game on Steam and Steam’s servers are down. You can still play online, but it wont be as smooth as it would be if it were on its own servers.
