We all know that we must manage our finances in order to grow and prosper. Money can be a blessing and a burden. It can inspire us, teach us, and guide us, as it does in the life of any individual. Some people want to manage their finances in a more complicated way, while others just want to pay off their mortgage in one lump sum.

Finance is a great way to manage money, but it’s a lot like running a marathon. People think they need to get away from it all and run from it. I don’t think that’s how it works. Instead, you spend most of your money on running. You want to do something you can do, but you can’t. This is a good example of how we’re not prepared for the fact that we’re not even prepared for it.

Finance isn’t just money. It’s also a way to do the things you want to do in life. When I was in college, I ran marathons every summer for the first three years at the University. I did it because I thought running would bring me closer to my goals in life. It didn’t. It brought me closer to the goals I wanted, but the only reason I ran was because I had no other choice.

Running was the only thing I did. I ran because I wanted to, not because I had to. I wanted to see if I could run a marathon. There was no way I was going to pass up on this life opportunity.

In 2007, I had already decided that I was going to take up racing. The only reason I knew this was that I had read an article about the first ever Boston Marathon. I had been to Boston four times before, but I had never run that race. I was going to do it. The day I decided I wanted to run, I had already written down all the details of my race plans, the dates it was to be, and the training schedule.

I knew it was going to be a challenge, and I knew I had a lot of work ahead of me. I was going to need to work on my fitness and stamina, build up my confidence, and gain a lot of momentum. I knew I was going to have to work on my diet, and set down the “rules” of the race. I was going to have to give myself some time to recover, so I could not get too far ahead of myself.

I had a few weeks before the race, and I was going to need to work hard on my diet in order to get the results I wanted in the race. I knew I had to eat before and after the race. I knew I had to eat the right food at the right time to get the maximum nutrition. My recovery plan was going to be to work out at the gym, and eat right before the race.

I’m sure this is the same for most athletes that are successful or close to achieving success. If you’re just starting out, you’re going to need to eat a lot of the right foods at the right time in order to get the right amount of nutrition. You have to start to figure out what you want to accomplish, and then focus every day on getting the right foods/drinks in order to get the nutrition you’re looking for.

If you focus on one thing and you don’t execute it right, your results will certainly be less than optimal.
